Snapchat: Set up a catalog for Dynamic Ads
What you’ll see
Section titled “What you’ll see”A Dynamic Ads launch that fails because a Product Set (or catalog) is missing or invalid.
Why this happens
Section titled “Why this happens”Snapchat Dynamic Product Ads pull products from a catalog. You need a catalog with a product feed, and a Product Set selected for the ad. Without these, Snapchat can’t build the dynamic creative.
How to fix it
Section titled “How to fix it”- Open Snapchat Ads Manager → menu (top corner) → Catalogs.
- Create a catalog, choose the vertical (e.g. Ecommerce), and add products by CSV upload or a data-feed URL. 👉 Create a Catalog
- Create a Product Set inside the catalog (or use All Products).
- When building the campaign, select Catalog Sales with the same Product Set. 👉 Build Dynamic Ads
- Return to markXpand and Relaunch.
