LinkedIn: Turn on two-step verification

LinkedIn asks for two-step verification (2SV) before you can manage ads. It’s a one-time security setup and only takes a minute.

A prompt to set up or confirm two-step verification before you can continue in Campaign Manager.

Two-step verification adds a second check (a code from your phone or an authenticator app) on top of your password. LinkedIn requires it for accounts managing ads.

  • LinkedIn enforces 2SV for advertising access.
  • Your account didn’t have it enabled yet.
  1. Sign in to LinkedInSettings & PrivacySign in & securityTwo-step verification.
  2. Turn it on and choose a method (authenticator app or SMS code).
  3. Complete the setup and verify once.
  4. Return to markXpand and Relaunch.

Two-step verification shows as On, and Campaign Manager lets you continue.
