Google: Merchant Center account suspended
Your Shopping ads stopped because Merchant Center — where your products live — was suspended. Fixing the underlying issue and requesting a review brings them back.
What you’ll see
Section titled “What you’ll see”Account suspended
in Merchant Center, and your Shopping products no longer showing.
What this means
Section titled “What this means”Google suspended the Merchant Center account (and the suspension is usually tied to your website domain). No products serve until it’s resolved and re-reviewed. A very common reason is Misrepresentation.
Why it happened
Section titled “Why it happened”Most often:
- Misrepresentation — missing trust pages (contact, returns, privacy, terms), or your site/feed details don’t match.
- Price or availability mismatch between your feed and your website.
- Other policy violations flagged in “Needs attention.”
How to fix it
Section titled “How to fix it”- In Merchant Center, open “Needs attention” / Account issues to see the exact reason.
- For Misrepresentation, make sure your website has clear Contact, Returns/Refund, Privacy, and Terms pages, and that feed prices match the checkout price.
- Fix every listed issue, then click Request review (reviews can take about 7 days).
- Once approved, your products serve again and you can Relaunch.
How to know it worked
Section titled “How to know it worked”The account status returns to active and your products show as Approved.
