Meta: Your advertising access is restricted
This restriction is tied to your personal Facebook profile, not just one ad account — so it can block ads everywhere until it’s reviewed. Here’s how to sort it out.
What you’ll see
Section titled “What you’ll see”Your advertising access is restricted.
What this means
Section titled “What this means”Meta has placed a restriction on the person (your Facebook profile), not only the ad account. While it’s in place, you can’t create ads on any account you manage.
Why it happened
Section titled “Why it happened”- Your profile was flagged by Meta’s automated or manual review (a policy or security signal).
- It can also follow on from a disabled ad account or unconfirmed identity.
How to fix it
Section titled “How to fix it”- Open Account Quality and look for the restriction on your profile.
- Follow the “What you can do” steps — usually confirm your identity or request a review.
- Submit the review and wait for Meta’s decision.
How to know it worked
Section titled “How to know it worked”The restriction is lifted after the review, and you can create and launch ads again.
Still stuck?
Section titled “Still stuck?”Reviews are decided by Meta, but we can help you understand the message:
It helps to include a screenshot of the restriction notice.
