Meta: Your ad account is under review
Good news first: this usually isn’t a problem. Meta simply reviews accounts before letting ads go live, and it normally clears on its own within a day or two.
What you’ll see
Section titled “What you’ll see”Your ad account is under review.
or ads that sit at “In review” and don’t start delivering.
What this means
Section titled “What this means”Meta runs a routine check before your ads serve — most often on new accounts, or after a sudden change (like a big jump in budget). It’s automatic and usually finishes in under 24–48 hours.
Why it happened
Section titled “Why it happened”- The ad account is new and hasn’t run ads before.
- A sudden change (large budget, lots of new ads at once) triggered an extra check.
- Something in the account or a recent ad was flagged for a closer look.
How to fix it
Section titled “How to fix it”- Wait it out. Most reviews finish within 24–48 hours.
- Don’t keep editing, duplicating, or relaunching the campaign — repeated changes can restart the review and make it slower.
- Check Account Quality for any “What you can do” action. If there’s a button there, follow it.
- Once the account shows it’s active, come back and Relaunch.
How to know it worked
Section titled “How to know it worked”The “under review” status disappears and your ads move to delivering. You’ll usually also get a notification from Meta.
