LinkedIn: Activate your ad account and add billing
What you’ll see
Section titled “What you’ll see”Your LinkedIn ad account isn’t active. Activate it and set up billing in LinkedIn Campaign Manager, then relaunch.
Why this happens
Section titled “Why this happens”A new LinkedIn ad account stays in a draft/inactive state until a payment method is added in Campaign Manager. LinkedIn won’t activate ads until billing is in place. Only the account’s billing admin can do this.
How to fix it
Section titled “How to fix it”- Open LinkedIn Campaign Manager and select your ad account.
- Go to Account settings → Billing.
- On the Billing setup tab, click Add payment details and enter your card.
- Click Save and continue (add a tax ID if prompted).
- LinkedIn may place a short verification hold (clears in a few business days). Once the account is active, return to markXpand and Relaunch.
