Snapchat: Link your Public Profile to the ad account
You already have a Public Profile — it just isn’t connected to the ad account you’re advertising from. Linking them takes a moment.
What you’ll see
Section titled “What you’ll see”An error that ads can’t run because no Public Profile is linked to the ad account (even though a Public Profile exists).
What this means
Section titled “What this means”Snapchat runs every ad under a Public Profile, and that profile has to be linked to the specific ad account you’re using. If it exists but isn’t linked, ads can’t run.
Why it happened
Section titled “Why it happened”- The Public Profile was created but never linked to this ad account.
- You’re using a different ad account than the one the profile is linked to.
How to fix it
Section titled “How to fix it”- Open Snapchat Business Manager.
- Go to your Public Profile settings (or the ad account settings).
- Link the Public Profile to the ad account you’re advertising from. 👉 Link a Public Profile to an ad account
- Return to markXpand and Relaunch.
How to know it worked
Section titled “How to know it worked”The ad account shows a linked Public Profile, and your ad launches.
