Google Ads: Account suspended or billing not set up

Your Google Ads account isn’t active (status: …) — it may be suspended, cancelled, or have a billing problem. Fix it in Google Ads, then relaunch.

Google won’t run ads while the account is suspended, cancelled, or has no active billing. Each has a different fix.

  1. Open Google AdsBilling (tools icon) → Settings.
  2. Add your payment method / payer details and save. 👉 Submit billing information
  1. Look for the suspension banner at the top of the account; it names the reason.
  2. Resolve the flagged issue (often unpaid invoices or a policy issue), then request a review. 👉 Account suspensions overview · Pay unpaid invoices
  1. Sign in as an AdminAdmin menu → PreferencesAccount statusReactivate my account. 👉 Reactivate a cancelled account

Then return to markXpand and Relaunch.

Suspension reviews are decided by Google. If your account is active and billing is set but the launch still fails, contact us with your reference code.
