Meta: Account spending limit reached
Your ads paused because the account reached a spending limit — a cap on how much the whole ad account can spend. It’s a quick fix once you raise or reset it.
What you’ll see
Section titled “What you’ll see”Your ads have stopped because you reached your account spending limit.
What this means
Section titled “What this means”An account spending limit is a total cap across the whole ad account. When spending reaches it, Meta automatically pauses every ad in the account until you raise, reset, or remove the limit.
Why it happened
Section titled “Why it happened”- You (or someone on the account) set an account spending limit and it’s now been reached.
- The limit was set low and normal spending caught up to it.
How to fix it
Section titled “How to fix it”- Open Meta Ads Manager → Billing → Payment settings (Business Manager → Payment settings).
- Find Account spending limit.
- Choose one:
- Raise the limit (the new amount must be higher than what’s already been spent),
- Reset the amount spent, or
- Remove the limit entirely.
- Save, then come back to markXpand and Relaunch.
How to know it worked
Section titled “How to know it worked”The paused ads start delivering again once the limit is above the amount already spent.
